Welcome To Silverwood Jewellery

Due to unforeseen family commitments Silverwood Jewellery will be closed from 22 July to 4 September.  I apologise for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

Silverwood's jewellery is hand crafted by Roslyn Wood, a designer maker and Senior Artclay instructor based in Kent, UK. Most of the pieces on the site are inspired by nature and many have interesting textures, shapes and designs.

All jewellery on the site, unless otherwise specified is made from either Sterling silver (.925) or Fine Silver (.999) and may contain freshwater pearls, gemstones, Swarovski Crystal or cubic zirconias.

Bespoke jewellery can be ordered according to your specification or you can simply order from Silverwood's existing designs.

The ever popular Fingerprint jewellery is also available at Silverwood Jewellery. Capture your child's precious fingerprint in silver or bronze and have it turned into the perfect keepsake. Check out the Fingerprint page for more information. Unlike many other fingerprint products, Silverwood uses Sterling silver (.925) as opposed to Fine silver (.999) on cufflinks, keyrings, bracelets and rings, which are items that are subject to greater wear and tear. Sterling silver contains alloys like tin and copper which adds strength to the finished product. Fine silver is 99% pure silver, which is good for people suffering from metal sensitivity, but means that the metal itself is softer.

Capture a special drawing in solid silver or bronze to create a special and lasting keepsake.  Your drawing is scanned and sized and then hand engraved into the metal.  This creates a much crisper, clearer outline than a stamp.  Good clear line drawings work best, but you can email any artwork through and I'll let you know if I can use it.

A special and truly unique piece of Memorial jewellery or keyring can be made using the handwriting of someone special.  Once the writing is emailed to me I can adjust the spacing to fit and hand engrave your desired piece of jewellery.
